week end

It is finally teh week end. We will have more time ot play and admire the puppies.
Now their buig game is to escape from their corner. We already found 2 puppies walking in the room yesterday . And tonight at 4.00 AM .I woke up earing a puppy screaming. I run downstrairs scared of what could happen. It was just Miss Rose . She was on the fence completelly blocked and trying to go back inside but her small feet where too far from the ground. She was crying for help of course !
Ha what a joy to sit and wait for them to come to you . They climb on you,looking for human heat. I love that !! I like to sit in the middle in pyjama and wait for them to reach me and sleep on my legs and arms . What a peacefull moment . You forget about everything around you !

This week end we also tested the special puppy solid food . We 've mixed it with special milk for puppies. Everybody seems to LOVE it !!! That's great .












Amazing to see the difference ! Now I need 2 hands to carry a puppy and it is not enough !

so funny

Now it becomes really funny . They start to play and they do so much funny things.

Now they are in the learning phase for peeing and pooping at a special place . It is working good . The funny thing is that they really all go to the "washroom "in the same time when they wake up . It is a lot of work for us to maintain the area clean but we seem to have find our routine. We started with the newspaper on the floor but that was not good and too messy . Now we have big square dipers on teh floor . The puppies really understand that they have to go there.

Tehy are also very curious. I bet that they will jump the small fence by teh end of the week !!

Week 3

It is already the week 3. This week has been really busy on our side at work but pretty calm on the puppies side .

We are really glad to have the colors now. We start to know their individual character.
Some of them are more advanced already and more confident.
I have added some videos on the website you can see the difference with the first week .

Pierre and I spend a lot of time watching them . It is so hypnotic !!

Eyes open and color tag

Great news. The puppies start to open their eyes . It changes completely their little face . It is amazing. They are now. 2 weeks old
Some of them have 2 eyes open and some only 1. It is funny .
You can already see their small blue eyes.
Yes, did you know that Weimaraner puppies have blue eyes ? The color will change to grey/green in couple of month . For the moment they have this beautifull strong blue color .


Another important news today. Each of the dog has received a nice colored necklace. It is easier for us to follow them and make sure everybody has milk and is healthy. You know they all look the same at that age . It will be easier to identify their character

For the girls : Miss Pink and Miss Red
For the boys : Mr Blue, Mr Orange, Mr Yellow, and Mr Green

Sad news

I am so sad today .
My pretty girl deceased last night. We don't know what happened . I found her lifeless at 3.00 AM this morning . I have spend so many time with her . We had such a connection together .

This is a dark and sad day in our house today. Loosing such a small and fragile puppy breaks my heart. Natures works in mysterious ways.
Bye bye my Pretty girl. Rest in peace . Love .

Week 1

I can not believe how big the puppies are . They are so funny with their round belly .It is amazing. My six little babies are so strong.
I am taking good care of pretty girl but I am really scared that she will not survive. I make sure that she get enough milk and wake during the night as well . It is hard. She is so small compare to the others.

Pretty girl

Puppies are officially 1 week old . Yesssss !
They are growing so fast. Their round belly is so funny ! They look like little bears with gray fur !




Everybody is ok except 1 small girl. She is really smaller ( half size ) . I call her "Pretty Girl" or my little shrimp (ma petite crevette in French) . Pretty girl is very fragile . We don't know if she's gonna make it . The rest of the gang is very strong and she has problem to find her way to the treat.
I worry about Pretty girl. The others push her on the side and she can't drink enough milk. She is so tiny ! Every day , several times per day, I take her and put her alone with her mother so she can have some milk. At first she had problem to find the treat by herself . Now she catches it of . It is already better than yesterday but we take one day at the time with her. She moves slowly and she sleeps a lot. I hope that this special treatment will help her to get some strength.
